UX, UI Designer
My role in the project is Lead UX Designer, responsible for overseeing the entire user experience design process. This includes conducting user research, creating wireframes and prototypes, defining the information architecture, and ensuring the app and website are intuitive, accessible, and aligned with user needs.
The MyDocgate design and development project is estimated to take 6 to 8 months. This includes:
Research & Planning (1 month)
Design (2 months)
Development (3 months)
Testing & QA (1 month)
Figma, Adobe Photoshop
MyDocgate is a convenient and intuitive platform designed to simplify healthcare for patients by allowing them to easily check in to their family doctor's office, complete health screening questions before their visit, and manage appointments—all from the comfort of their home. The app and website work seamlessly together, offering users the ability to search for doctors, schedule appointments, and track their healthcare journey.
Targeted primarily at busy individuals and families, the app is ideal for anyone seeking a more efficient way to access healthcare. This includes working professionals, parents, elderly individuals, and those with chronic conditions who require regular check-ups. With an emphasis on ease of use and accessibility, MyDocgate helps patients streamline the healthcare experience, saving time and reducing the stress associated with doctor visits.
The problem we aim to solve is the inefficiency and frustration of traditional doctor’s office visits, including long wait times and the need for repeated paperwork. Our app streamlines the process by allowing patients to check in, complete health screenings, and manage appointments digitally, saving time and improving the overall healthcare experience.
The goal of this project is to create a seamless, user-friendly platform that empowers patients to easily manage their healthcare appointments, complete pre-visit screenings, and communicate with their family doctor—all from the convenience of their mobile device or desktop. This aims to enhance patient convenience, reduce wait times, and improve the overall healthcare experience.
As the Lead UX Designer, my responsibilities throughout the project included:
Conducting interviews, surveys, and competitor analysis to understand user needs, pain points, and preferences.
Creating detailed user personas to guide design decisions.
Designing low-fidelity wireframes for the app and website to map out the user flow and layout.
Developing high-fidelity interactive prototypes for both web and mobile platforms, showcasing key features and functionality.
Defining the visual style, including colors, typography, and icons to ensure a consistent and appealing user interface.
Conducting testing sessions with real users to gather feedback and refine design elements.
Ensuring the designs meet accessibility standards for users with disabilities, including color contrast, keyboard navigation, and screen reader compatibility.
Working closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to align design with technical capabilities and project goals.
Continuously improving and iterating the design based on feedback and testing results.

Let’s Get StartedThroughout my career, I've had the opportunity to work with some well-known brands, both in agency settings and as an independent contractor. While confidentiality agreements and the age of some projects limit what I can share, I can still mention a few key clients to demonstrate my industry experience and credibility.
